map data and library not working after update

Downloaded this app to complement the inreach SE GPS device which requires monthly subscription. After this update, neither the data management or map library function. After waiting 20 minutes on hold with customer support, I was told there are no known issues with this update and that if Im having a problem, I should uninstall and reinstall the app.
For a rather expensive system, this should function better.
