Onerous terms

I bought the Delorme Inreach receiver, downloaded this app, and excitedly started to set it up. Unfortunately, at that point I discovered two deal-breakers: a 1-year subscription service is required, and you cant cancel the same way you signed up. (You have to call and presumably go through a salesweasel trying to convince you not to cancel). I just want to use this three or four times a year. A yearly subscription makes no sense. And if I sign up for something on the web, I ought to be able to discontinue that service via the web as well. Disappointed, I returned the Inreach for a full refund and deleted this app.
